Today's World Press Freedom Day

It's the World Press Freedom Day, as a way of appreciating the efforts of every journalists around the world for their tireless endeavours to bring up-to-date news and happenings to people.

The pen is mightier than the sword or gun, an aphorism for the emerging world after the expanse domination of war and military dictators throughout the human history. Writings of all sorts are now being kept sacred.

The press is in fact the balance between truth and lies, love and hate. The truthful expositor of all intents is the power of the press and we hope it stays that way. All those who had died broadcasting a news, or reporting an event are so remembered today. We love them and we pray that their souls rest in peace. We felicitate with their families. For those in captivity for saying the truth, we also pray they are released soonest.

Nothing must stop the press reports. Its freedom should be held in sacrilege and reverence. God bless all reporters, interviewers, newscasters and all behind the cameras doing a fantastic press job. Today's their day and we sure celebrate them.
