Christians should participate in Politics: Pst. Francis Adebayo advises

The Platform, a program on Channels TV aired a live event, “Get Involved" which featured various speakers from almost all walks of life.

One of the speakers, Pastor Francis Adebayo who was once an aspirant for a seat in the Lagos House of Assembly in the year 2015 but lost the election spoke at length during the event. He bared his mind concerning Christians attitudinal approach to politics

He mentioned most people refused to participate because they feel its dirty and unfit for them. You can't win it, if you're not in it, was the summary of his address.

He advised every Christian to join the political process and acquire political sense which is invariably very important in a country like ours.

If Nigerian Politics is dirty, Christians should join and wash it clean. No more blame casting, believing the country can never be better. Get your PVC, join a party and help raise a better country.

Finally, he encouraged all Nigerians to show concern for local politics. Get to know the counselor of your ward, the local government chairman of your area. Demand accountability, demand transparency.

Nigeria is our country, let's join hands and build it.
