Liverpool to face Real Madrid in UCL final

Another night for a wonderful UCL semi-final return leg clash between Roma and Liverpool. Liverpool having done most of the hardwork at Anfield cruised on the back of a 5-2 lead to Roma. The team from Rome had already shown the stuff they were made of by upsetting a 4-1 home win from FC Barcelona, many expected such performance to be repeated.

Liverpool came on quickly to spill blood by getting an early opener from S. Mane, not long after J. Milner commited an own goal to make the match a stalemate. Wijnaldum quickly erased the draw to give Liverpool a first half win. 

It was the men in red that looked more deadly at the end of the first 45.

Roma returned with fire in their bones as they equalized to score three more goals to give Liverpool an heartache at the closing of the match. E. Dzeko and Nainggolan's brace made a breathtaking encounter. The game ended 4-2 and 6-7 on aggregate on the night.

Liverpool eased through all thanks to their hardwork at Anfield last week to book a spot in the final against Real Madrid at Kyiv.
