Don't wear your Liverpool Jerseys in Rome: Roma fans warn


Roma will meet Liverpool tonight for the second leg match of their UCL campaign.
Roma who overturned Barcelona's advantage to book a place in the semi-final were left surprised in the first leg encounter as Liverpool took a heavy win to Rome.

After a scintillating first leg match, Roma fans were tipped of the edge at Anfield which led to a brawl outside the confines of the stadium that night. A Liverpool fan was seriously injured during the clash and was rushed into intensive care unit.

It has been said that their may be a repeat of such tonight in Rome. All travelling Liverpool fans are advised not to wear the Liverpool Jersey till they get to the stadium, no Liverpool fan is expected to walk alone after the match tonight.



The game of football is meant for entertainment and nothing more. We can only hope that Roma fans in the spirit of fair play and sportsmanship sheath their swords and allow Liverpool fans enjoy the beautiful game.
